Microplastics requires your permission to use your personal information and health-related test data to provide your testing service.

We may contact you by text message, email, or mail to:

Confirm your order
Provide kit shipment updates
Send instructions and reminders
Notify you when results are available
Respond to customer service inquiries

We do not use your information for marketing without your separate consent.

How your information is used and shared

To deliver your service, we may share necessary information with trusted providers, including:

Tasso (at-home collection kit provider)
Panome Bio (CLIA-certified laboratory performing analysis)
Authorized operational vendors supporting logistics and customer service

This test is provided for informational and general wellness purposes only.

It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Participation does not create a physician-patient relationship.

This service is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

Test order details
Laboratory measurement results

Information is shared only as necessary to provide the service and may include Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined under applicable laws, including HIPAA.

Authorized personnel at Microplastics
Authorized personnel at Tasso
Authorized personnel at Panome Bio
Contracted service providers under confidentiality agreements

Your rights

You may decline to provide consent. However, we cannot provide testing services without it.

Revocation becomes effective within 5 business days and does not apply to information already used.

Duration of consent

This authorization remains in effect while your account is active or until revoked in writing.

If no order is placed within 24 months, we may request renewed consent before processing future services.

Part 2 (Optional): Use of de-identified data

Participation in this section is optional and does not affect your access to testing services.

What may be used

If you opt in, Microplastics may use de-identified data including:

Laboratory measurement values
Demographic information
Non-identifiable service data

All data is de-identified in accordance with applicable privacy standards.

How it may be used

De-identified data may be used to:

Improve service quality
Enhance analytical methods
Perform aggregated data analysis
Support internal research and development
Develop future services

Opting out does not affect your results or service
Research uses only aggregated, de-identified data
